Getting started.

About This Module

“I learned this, at least, by my experiment: that if one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours.”

―Henry David Thoreau, Walden

The UFL Course Workbook correlates with each Module/Lesson from start to finish. The questions will help you considerably to implement what you’ve learned into your life.

Don’t underestimate it’s power and the effect it can have on your entire life. By simply repeating ideas out loud, in your head, or writing them down, you learn and implement magnitudes more than you would otherwise. If you don’t implement them, you’ll forget them and the time you’ve invested will become a waste.

Also, there are exercises within the workbook that, again, will help you dig deep into your life so you can become aware of what’s going on within you and what you need to alter in order to achieve the results you’re looking for in your life.

Ultimate Freedom Eloquently Described:

The paragraphs below have been taken from an incredible book written by Rolf Potts, titled, Vagabonding, which pertains to long-term travel.

Although I absolutely encourage long-term travel, the scope of this course goes far beyond such a topic, which is why I’ve adapted Potts’ incredibly eloquent writing to fit that of the Ultimate Freedom Lifestyle’s purpose. So without further ado…

View UFL (Ultimate Freedom Lifestyle), not as a way to momentarily escape your life, but as a way to create a new one filled with a never ending surplus of passion and adventure. View UFL as a catalyst to overcome your fears and begin living life to the fullest.

If at times this program seems unorthodox—that’s good—because living the Ultimate Freedom Lifestyle IS unorthodox.

However, if there is anything that you would prefer to alter in your own mind and see differently, I encourage you to do so. As Bruce Lee said,

“Research your own experiences for the truth. Absorb what is useful, reject what is useless, and add what is specifically your own. Man, the living creature, the creating individual, is always more important than any established style or system.”

What UFL is about is reshaping common limiting beliefs implemented into our lives by our culture and the status quo.

Out of our insane duty to fear, fashion, and monthly payments on things we don’t really need, we quarantine our life to short frenzy bursts of vacations or drunken weekends. However, no combination of vacations or weekend shindigs will truly rescue us from the monotonous and mundane grind that often consumes our life.

Ultimate Freedom has nothing to do with demographics like age or ideology, and everything to do with personal outlook.

Ultimate Freedom isn’t an act of rebellion against society. It’s an act of common sense within society.

Ultimate Freedom doesn’t require a million dollars. It only requires that we walk through the world in a more deliberate way.

Ultimate Freedom is an outlook on life. Ultimate Freedom is about using the prosperity and possibility of the information age to increase your personal options instead of expanding your collection of personal possessions.

Ultimate Freedom is about looking for adventure in normal life, and normal life within adventure.

Ultimate Freedom is an attitude; a friendly interest in people, places, and things, that make a person an explorer in the truest, most vivid sense of the word.

Ultimate Freedom is an uncommon way of looking at life; a value adjustment from which action naturally follows.

And, as much as anything, Ultimate Freedom is about time—our only real commodity—and how we choose to use it.

As Henry David Thoreau put it in his book, Walden,

“We end up spending the best part of one’s life earning money in order to enjoy a questionable liberty during the least value part of it.”

We tell ourselves we’d love to drop all and explore the world, but the time never seems right, thus, given an unlimited amount of choices, we make none.

Settling into our lives, we get so obsessed with our domestic certainties, that we forget why we desired them in the first place.

Ultimate Freedom is about gaining the courage to loosen your grip on the so-called certainties of this world. Ultimate Freedom is about refusing to exile your fulfillment to a later time in life. Ultimate Freedom is about taking control of your circumstances instead of passively waiting for them to decide your fate.

Thus, the question of how and when to begin living the life you desire is not really a question at all. Ultimate Freedom starts now.

Even if the life you desire is still months or years away from full embodiment, Ultimate Freedom begins the moment you stop making excuses, decide what you want and are committed to, and take your first step towards turning your abundant vision into an epic reality.
